The Deputy told about the new pension accumulation formula for Ukrainians.

According to Serhiy Hryvko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Social Policy and Protection of Veterans' Rights, Ukraine's pension system is under threat of changes. Replacing the solidarity pension system will be very difficult, but there is already a bill to introduce an accumulation system. Discussions are underway on the optimal ways of its implementation.
One of the proposals involves allocating 2% from SSC and 2% from PIT to citizens' pension accumulation accounts. At the same Time, 20% from SSC will be directed to the solidarity system, and 2% - to the accumulation one. Citizens will also be able to make additional contributions at their discretion.
Reforming the pension system is an urgent task since the solidarity system can no longer effectively provide pension payments. The introduction of an accumulation component may help improve the pension provision for Ukrainians.
Earlier, the PFU warned that some pensioners might lose payments in November.
