A widely circulated photo of a badge featuring the logo of Mykolaiv Gymnasium No. 6 and the inscription 'My dad is a dodger' has appeared online. However, this photo is a forgery and such information is false. This was reported by the Center for Counteracting Disinformation (CPD) and Mykolaiv General Educational Gymnasium No. 6.
In recent days, false messages have been circulating online stating that children in Mykolaiv schools are being issued badges saying 'My dad is a dodger' and that they are being insulted. This information is fake, propagated by Russian propaganda. Such false messages have appeared before, notably about schools in Vinnytsia, and have been debunked by fact-checkers and journalists, notes the gymnasium.
The Center for Counteracting Disinformation also confirms that this information is spread by Russian propaganda.
CPD states that such lies aim to discredit educational institutions, creating an impression of artificial segregation within Ukrainian society and oppression of schoolchildren.
Let us remind you that Russia has launched a new information offensive against Ukraine, accusing Kyiv of hostility towards negotiations to end the war.
