monobank suffered a massive DDoS attack: how it will affect clients.

DDoS attack on monobank services continues for the third day, - Oleh Horokhovskyi
monobank CEO Oleh Horokhovskyi announced a massive ongoing DDoS attack on the bank's services, which began on August 16. The attack has been going on for three days with short breaks.
In two days, the bank recorded about 5.5 billion requests to its services, which is an unprecedented scale of a cyber attack. Despite this, the bank continues to operate and provides clients with the ability to make payments and support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"We are holding on so you can help ours and close collections. Go and donate to the AFU, to spite this evil," Horokhovskyi urged.
To solve the problem, workers from Amazon Web Services (AWS) were involved, an attack of such scale is atypical for them. Ukrainian special services also provided assistance.
Although the situation is under control, the scale of the attack is impressive. This attack demonstrates how significant the constant support of the Ukrainian military by monobank users is.
"Note how you all with your collections and donations for the third year without stopping have already annoyed these swine, that they need by any means to break our Banks. [F.] you, not Mono!", added the CEO of monobank.
In February, there was also a massive DDoS attack on Ukrainian banks and electronic services, including monobank and Diia.
