The Telegraph learned who could become the main negotiator with Putin from Europe.

Macron could be the chief representative of Europe in negotiations with Putin
French President Emmanuel Macron may lead negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding a peaceful resolution of the situation in Ukraine. This was reported by The Telegraph, citing a source from the Élysée Palace.
Several countries of the 'coalition of the willing' have called on the European leader to lead negotiations with Russia. The candidates for this role are Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Starmer does not plan to negotiate with Putin, but Macron, according to the source from the Élysée Palace, is ready to take on this role 'when the right moment comes'. However, when asked about when to start communicating with the head of the Kremlin, the source replied: 'Obviously, it is still too early.'
It should be noted that Great Britain and France have faced resistance from allies regarding the issue of peacekeepers in Ukraine.
