At Davos, the UN Secretary-General warned about new serious global risks.

UN Secretary-General on threats to the world
The UN Secretary-General António Guterres addressed the forum in Davos with a warning about the retreat from commitments in the fight against climate change. He pointed out that while there is progress, countries are still exacerbating problems and lack effective management systems to address them.
The main threats, Guterres noted, are the climate crisis and the risk of uncontrolled artificial intelligence expansion. He also emphasized that dependence on fossil fuels is harmful to the entire world.
The UN Secretary-General also warned about the threats of artificial intelligence, which can be used for deception, so it is necessary to understand this threat and respond accordingly.
Guterres also mentioned the complicated geopolitical situation in the world that requires resolution.
These statements were made at the forum in Davos, where he also answered questions about the situation in the Middle East, the government in Lebanon, and Syria after the fall of Bashar Assad's regime.
