Ukrainian cucumbers break records: prices rise by 200%.

The prices for greenhouse cucumbers in Ukraine have significantly increased compared to the previous year. According to analysts from EastFruit, the price of these products is already twice as high as last year.
Producers have raised the selling prices for greenhouse cucumbers to 45-60 UAH/kg ($1.09-1.46/kg), which is 12% more than the end of last week. This increase is caused by several factors. First, the supply of cucumbers on the market is limited due to the end of the open-field cultivation season. Second, not all greenhouses have started the second rotation harvest, and the beginnings are slight due to the cool weather.
Market experts predict further possible price increases for cucumbers due to high demand. It should be noted that today's prices for greenhouse cucumbers are on average twice as high as in the same period last year. This situation presents certain challenges for consumers, but at the same Time, it opens up new opportunities for greenhouse product manufacturers.
