AFU destroy bridges in Kursk region faster than Russia can build them – Media.

Ukrainian army destroyed bridges across the Seim River in Russia's Kursk region
AFU forces aimed to cut off Russian soldiers from supply over an area of 500 sq. km.
Ukrainian troops blew up all three permanent bridges across the Seim River in Russia's Kursk region. This was done to cut off Russian soldiers from supply over an area of about 500 square kilometers. Russians are instead building pontoon crossings.
According to Forbes, Russian engineers quickly assembled sections of floating pontoon bridges across the Seim and ferry them by boats. However, the Ukrainians were prepared for this move. They used FPV drones to intercept columns of enemy soldiers and launched missiles to blow up boats and pontoons on the water.
"But the Ukrainians anticipated this move. They launched FPV drones to intercept columns of enemy soldiers and launched missiles to blow up boats and pontoons on the water," the publication noted.
As a result of these actions by Ukrainian troops, a huge area of the Kursk region, as well as any Russian troops in this area, are effectively cut off from land supplies and reinforcements.
"And do not expect significant reinforcements from the air: Ukrainian forces have made the skies over the Kursk region extremely inhospitable for Russian helicopters. The fact that the Ukrainians are so determined to isolate the Kursk region to the left of the Seim is a powerful signal that their next step may be a ground attack across the Seim into the very region they have just isolated," noted Forbes.
It is noted that the AFU's goal is to outpace the enemy in deploying forces in this direction, so the destruction of bridges is a key element of the strategy. The Russians no longer have easy access to this territory, but Ukrainian troops can enter it by crossing the border.
